Come for short-term or long-term and work as a volunteer at Christian Friends of Israel (CFI), a ministry that exists:

  • to comfort and to support the people of Israel through practical means
  • to inform Christians around the world of God’s plan for Israel and the Church’s responsibility toward the Jewish people
  • to make the Jewish people aware of our solidarity with them

Join Us!
Christian Friends of Israel is located in the center of Jerusalem. The volunteers at CFI are provided with

  • housing (this applies only to long-term volunteers)
  • lunch five times a week
  • monthly bus pass
  • health insurance
  • 3-day-adventure tours twice a year
  • team environment

All other expenses (round trip flight ticket plus living expenses in Israel) have to be covered by the volunteers.

What else? Besides working 4.5 days a week at CFI, living in Israel offers many opportunities: swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, skiing on Mount Hermon, hiking in Ein Gedi, snorkeling in Eilat, camping at the Sea of Galilee, visiting historic places… Also, in and around Jerusalem there are many sites to visit, cafeיs to go to and people to meet.

Our CFI Staff Application form is available as a Word File and PDF File. It is 11 pages (A4 size) or 12 pages (US letter size), so you may want to download it to your hard drive. Please fill out and sign the form, attach a photo of yourself, and mail to us at the address on the form. If you choose to fill out the Word file application on your computer and are able to insert/attach a photo file of yourself, you may send the form with photo by email (to expedite the process), and follow-up with a signed printed copy by regular mail. If you are filling out the application by hand, please mail the completed and signed form with your photo to the address on the form. Thank you!
