The Land of Israel

The Land of Israel

“…I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded…and the desolate land shall be tilled…I the Lord build the ruined places…I will increase them with men like a flock”. (Ezekiel 36:33-37).

Divine promises gives prominence to the tiny piece of land at the east end of the Mediterranean Sea. The Title Deed for the Land was given to the Jewish people and has never been rescinded. In Genesis 12:7 God says, “…unto thy seed will I give this land…”. Since 1948, new towns and cities have been established. CFI stands with the Land of Israel and believes that what God says in His Word regarding the Land of Israel has been and will continue to come to pass.

The Jewish People

“…and I will assuredly plant them in this Land with all my heart and with all my soul” (Jeremiah 32:41).

The return of the Jewish people to their homeland was prophesied in the Bible. Their return to the Land is of great importance to Christians as it heralds the Coming of the Lord. “For the Lord will rebuild Zion and appear in His glory”. (Psalm 102:16). God is personally involved in the return of His People. We have been witnesses to the immigration from the four corners of the world. The word “aliyah” means to “go up.” Immigrants have come to Israel on horseback, in boats, on buses and in recent years, on airplanes and by ship.

Other key Scriptures to study on the return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel are Ezekiel 36:24; Psalm 126:1-4, Jeremiah 30:3 and Jeremiah 31:23,24).
